In recent years, art toys have become a global phenomenon: Pop Mart is valued in the billions, and Bearbrick figurines sell for tens of thousands of dollars. But almost all of them are purely physical.
Capybobo offers something different: every digital item in the game has an exact physical counterpart, and every physical toy is a unique NFT with provenance via PBT (Proof of Belonging Token).
This isn't "NFT + merch." It's a unified ownership system where digital and physical assets reinforce each other.
The project is launching with GameFi on TON and KAIA—two fast and low-cost networks. Players earn skins of varying rarities (up to SSSR level).
Then:
- you can exchange a rare skin for a physical costume for an art toy,
- or buy a blind box with a figurine linked to an NFT,
- or use $PYBOBO to increase your chances of winning rare rewards.
The token isn't a currency for speculation, but a key to the ecosystem: it grants access to exclusives, reduces redemption fees, and participates in future launches.
The main problem with physical collectibles is counterfeits. Capybobo solves this through on-chain authentication: each toy has a digital certificate that cannot be counterfeited.
This creates trust in the secondary market: you know for sure you're buying an original, not a replica. This approach is already used in the luxury sector, but rarely in the art toy niche.
The team is building its audience in stages:
1. Gamers – through the game and airdrops (Q2–Q3 2025),
2. Collectors – through physical toys and PBTs (H1 2026),
3. Mass audience – through collaborations with fashion and pop culture (2027+).
The first flagship store will open in Hong Kong in 2026, followed by Tokyo and Bangkok. These are not virtual "metaverses," but real spaces for meetings and releases.
The project requires extensive coordination: game development, toy production, logistics, retail, and partnerships. Even Pop Mart took years to achieve this.
Furthermore, $PYBOBO is a utility token that does not entitle to profits. Its value will depend on real demand for skins and toys, not hype.
If the game doesn't retain players or physical products don't find buyers, the ecosystem won't close.
Capybobo doesn't sell "digital rarities." It offers the opportunity to live in two worlds simultaneously:
- winning the game behind the screen,
- wearing the costume on the figurine on the shelf,
- meeting other collectors in the store.
And if one day you get a rare skin, buy its physical version, and show it off at a meetup in Hong Kong, you won't just be buying an NFT.
You'll be entering a new culture of ownership, where the boundaries between digital and physical dissolve.
